Here's how you can make money with article writing:

1. Say no to passive voice. One of you main goals in writing your articles is to move your readers to act on your favor. You cannot do that if your content sound weak. Use active voice all the time that can help you easily direct your readers and make your content sound more effective and compelling. Instead of saying, "it can be achieved", why not use, "you can achieve this"?

2. Tell your readers what to do. Most people are going online because they are literally clueless on how they can resolve their pressing issues. As an expert on your chosen niche, you are in the best position to direct them to the right path. Tell them what they have to do and how to do it step by step. Just make sure that all the tips and techniques that you are offering are proven to work so you can avoid misleading these people.

3. Go with specific topics. Online users can easily get bored when reading articles online so it is not advisable that you touch on topics that will require them to spend hours in their computers. Discuss topics that you can discuss in 500 words or less. If you are writing about weight loss, you can make your topics more specific by targeted specific angles of your story. You can write weight loss for teenagers, weight loss tips, etc.

4. Provide examples. To promote better understanding and to help your readers visualize the message that you are trying to get across, incorporate your topics with real-life examples or stories that your readers can easily identify with. If permitted, you can insert graphics or relevant images especially if you are offering step-by-step guides.

5. Be precise and concise. By this, I simply mean don't be a rambler. Say what you mean and mean what you say to save your readers their precious time. Avoid using lengthy introductions, fillers and fancy words.

6. Proofread. If you want to be regarded as an expert article writer, you must care to offer flawless work. Do not forget to check on your grammar, spelling, and punctuation before you hit that submit button. Remember, it may take months or even years before you can build your reputation online and it can only take few errors to ruin it.
